George Wyllie is primarily an installation artist whose themes over the last decade have been derived from his deep knowledge and love of things nautical, his visit to Hiroshima in 1946, his obsession with birds and his concern for the environment and for humanity as a natural part of the environment. His lecture which verges on being a performance will be on his own work, especially his large-scale out-door installations. He will also introduce Synergic art, one of the more recent trends in art.
