Karl Antao is a sculptor who works in stone and wood. Expressive and boldly executed, Antao’s sculptures convey myriad human emotions with ease and have a visual impact that transforms the material into a vibrant instrument of communication.

Rajeshree Thakker bases her recent works on well-known legends and icons. Most of Rajeshree’s paintings have female figures in the foreground, often self portraits, but she maintains that her work is not a feminist statement, instead she builds her paintings on the aesthetics of personal experience. Her works relate to both the esoteric and the tangible effortlessly.

Sunil Padwal depicts the male figure in a variety of moods, reflecting on the different dimensions of life. He works like a sculptor, adding & subtracting upon the surface of his paintings and incorporates the human figure in his paintings in the same vein – building it in and out of the surface. Innovative in material and medium, the artist works with various found objects, expressing his concerns through journeys of thought and reflection.
