June 12, 2008 |10.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Sea View Room, National Centre for the Performing Arts, Mumbai

In this workshop, the children will engage in dialogues around adolescent issues in young girls. Using a range of practices in art therapy, the facilitator will speak about psychological stress and emotional health in adolescence. As adolescents mature, they develop the ability to understand abstract concepts and to form judgments. The method will be to use art as an expressive language that offers a form of communication to represent the feelings of the children in a therapeutic setting.

Oihika Chakrabarti is an art psychotherapist, community arts practitioner and art therapy educator with a demonstrated history of working for almost two decades in the non-profit education sector in India.
