The exhibition will take visitors on a 3D immersive experience into the coffin of Nesperennub, a priest who lived and died in Egypt nearly 3,000 years ago. This path-breaking exhibition with its non-invasive technique of X-rays, CT-scans and advanced computer technology takes viewers through a ‘virtual unwrap’,’ a 3D journey combined with dramatic reconstructions of the priest’s life and mummification in ancient Egypt, portraying its every feature using a forensic approach. In addition, the exhibition is designed with a five minute pre-show film giving context to his historical and social background. In this exhibition walk organized for teachers and children, an insight into the ancient life of Egypt and its history and culture will be disseminated through exhibition guides at the museum.

The CSMVS (formerly the Prince of Wales Museum) is a premier art and history museum in India, based in Mumbai.
