As part of the public art project, Land of Mine, a nature trail and workshop is organized for children at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Led by the Conservation Education Centre (BNHS), the nature trail introduces the biodiversity of the park, and simultaneously the artist, Pradeep Mishra conceives of a workshop where the trail ends along the bed of a seasonal river inside the park. The children will create installations with natural materials at the site to explore how the natural environs and the history of the site form a unique habitat, evoking structures of home and land art.

The CEC at BNHS develops effective methodology in conservation education for formal and non-formal education sector. The Centre is fully equipped with the tools and education materials required to impart conservation education among its audience.

Pradeep Mishra is an artist who draws on the natural world for the subjects of his paintings. Animals, birds and plants, as the artist’s main choice of subjects, portray his environmental concerns and his sensitivity towards the effects of present ecological imbalances.
