Tejal is a young emerging Indian artist, who recently had her first International solo show at the Pruss & Ochs Gallery, Berlin. Though formally trained as a photographer, in her recent works she engages in an inter-disciplinary collaborative approach to reflect on our understandings of the glamorous democracy we have come to inhabit. Constantly implicating herself in her work, using body as performance, she probes into the role of the artist in contemporary society. Informed by feminism and queer studies, she is also involved in public art and art activism.

In this discussion, the artist will present some of her videos, photographs and sound work.
