‘Time Present: Photographs from the Deutsche Bank Collection’, on view at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai from March 21 – May 10, 2015, is an international panorama of photographic art. Time Present offers an extraordinary insight into contemporary history, where photography has radically changed our vision of the world. Under the aegis of this exhibition, The Pomegranate Workshop presents a unique series of workshops for school children.

At Shot Story, conducted by The Pomegranate Workshop, children will discover that an image can indeed speak several hundred words, if not a 1000! Using effective strategies, the facilitators will lead the children to connect with the photo images so they can create their very own stories in the Shot Story workshop. The stories can be written in English, Hindi or Marathi. The workshops aim to sensitize the children to the art of photography from the world over by creating a direct connect through fiction or nonfiction stories written by the children.
